I collaborated with Becky Bruning to develop a shop for one of JCPenney's newest private brands, Stylus.
The focal point of the shop is a custom-engineered peg board system in the back wall cabinet, which features the brand's "Designer Picks." Here we have the flexibility to hang merchandise from black pegs in various ways to create visual interest. Black sintra discs printed with numbers are used to label the clothing and each piece is called out with it's corresponding number on the lightbox graphic.
Additional graphics placed into the other cabinets and a hanging sign rounded out the shop at the conceptual phase. Some elements continued to evolve from what you see here.
My involvement in this project was the leading the overall concept and overseeing engineering and logistics. Becky took the lead on the look and feel of the graphics.
